Elizabeth Jane Hurley, an English model and actress, who gained notoriety during the 1990s as the girlfriend of Hugh Grant was an ex- English model. When Hugh Grant's movie Four Weddings and a Funeral became the subject of global media attention, Hurley accompanied Grant to the film's Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace dress and gold safety-pins. This instantly gained her media recognition. The relationship she has had in the company of Estee Lauder has been the most memorable moment in her career. Hurley began her modeling gig at the Estee-Lauder company when she was just 29 years old. The company has utilized Hurley as a brand model, especially for perfumes such as Sensuous Intuitions and Pleasures. Vanessa Kensington was her most well-known character as a character in Mike Myers hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me(1999). Hurley is currently a model and designer for a beachwear collection named after her. Capitol Records however released Perry's EP Ur So Gay in 2007. Ur So Gay's title song was a fun and playful song that attracted minimal attention. The song I Kissed a Girl was a more assertive ode sexism with a sharp edged electro-pop rhythm. It was a controversial song in that critics had criticized the song for promoting relationships between gay men and other charged that the song depicted a racy scene which appealed to men's fantasies of female sexuality. I Kissed a Girl, the combination of excitement with a sophisticated tune, allowed I Kissed a Girl to achieve the number one spot in a variety of countries, and to drive sales for her album, One of the Boys. Hot N Cold, Perry's energetic and sharply-tongued record with the song that was its second biggest hit became a huge hit. The album that Perry wrote herself, sold over 3 million copies.
